The Challenge
JMP Medical initially sought a simple medical website redesign to better communicate its offering and showcase the rapidly growing market presence. However, the client lacked a clear brand foundation to guide the process.
We needed to gather and refine the brand elements that had evolved organically over the years, standardasing them into a cohesive strategy to support JMP Medical business transformation. When the client announced a company merger, we took into consideration the distinct cultures, identities, and business goals of merged entities to develop a unified brand.
Discovery Workshop
We started by conducting a series of brand and website strategy workshops, both on-site and online. These workshops helped us understand JMP Medical goals and current gaps. The brand strategy workshop defined their mission, vision, values, and communication guidelines.
Consolidating Brand and Communication Guidelines
To solidify the upgraded brand, we delivered a top-to-bottom brief that encapsulates its identity, brand positioning, target audience, key messages, and precise content & language guidelines.
Enhancing Visual Identity with a Patient-Centered Approach
We aimed to modernise the look while honouring JMP Medical mission to provide accessible, patient-centred care. Collaborating with the client’s design team, we refreshed all product and marketing materials, balancing JMP Medical established reputation with a contemporary look and feel that is warm, human, and approachable. This resulted in a detailed brand book that guides all future marketing initiatives.
Redesigning the Website
We conducted a workshop with the client to explore how the new website could serve as a central tool in JMP Medical marketing activities. With insights in hand, we delivered a suite of UX/UI design wireframes that simplified navigation for diverse audiences and showcased the complex product portfolio in detail. Our experts crafted detailed instructions and visual style guidelines for the client's internal IT team, who then developed the bilingual website.
